This is the set of Original American Army Replica Dog Tags.
Our original American labels of WWII Repro are manufactured according to military specifications. These “WWII” stamps (World War II) are the original dogtags used by the US Army during the Second World War. These labels were made with a knurled edge, according to military specifics that included World War II and the Korean War. They are accompanied by two stainless steel ball chains.
US military format
The general original format of the standard military label is as follows:
Line 1: Surname (up to 14 letters)
Line 2: Name, initials (15 letters)
Line 3: Birth number, Date of birth, or Social Security Number (15 letters)
Line 4: Blood group, unit (15 letters)
Line 5: Religion (eg: “NO PREFERENCE” 14 letters)
The silicone rubber bands were not used in WWII military stamps.
